Our class had a great time working with their buddies designing a parachute for Santa out of only a plastic bag, string, tape, and a cup.
Students had to work together and think of a design. They then tested out their design and made adjustments.

One of our Science objectives is to learn what happens when we mix primary colours together. To add an element of fun to our lesson, we mixed yellow lemonade and blue ice cubes together to see what would happen! Have you ever tried green lemonade??
Yesterday during Rainbow Day, we started this colored water experiment. We lined up seven jars and placed an empty jar between the three primary colors. Each jar was connected with a dry paper towel. Throughout the day we saw beautiful changes. Look what happened when the primary colors mixed!
We had lots of fun in Science today! Everyone started with a glass of yellow lemonade. We then added a blue ice cube. Ask your child what happened to their yellow lemonade. On Friday we celebrated Rainbow Day! Rainbow Day was lots
of fun! We spent the morning rotating between five centers. We made tie-dye shirts, mixed yellow and red shaving cream together, painted with primary colors, made a rainbow mosaic, and decorated rainbow cupcakes. Thank you so much to all our helpers; Ms. Twylla, Ms. Corin, Ms. Vicky, and Ms. Melissa!! |
